Children’s Services and First Visits
One of the most common childhood diseases is early childhood tooth decay; it can cause pain, children may miss school, and it may be life threatening in severe cases.
A child’s first dental visit should ideally be sometime between when their first tooth comes in and their first birthday. During this visit, we determine their risk for dental disease and create a customized preventative plan. For more information on preventing tooth decay in children, visit our blog!
Same Day Emergency Care
We know how tough it can be to find a provider when something unexpected happens. If you have a chipped tooth, a toothache, pain in your jaw, or a lost filling, give us a call! We will do everything we can to fit you into our schedule.
As a dedicated dental team, we are very concerned about patient protection from the infectious diseases. Many long hours have gone into our infection-control system. We are constantly updating our procedures. The use of gloves, masks, gowns, and protective eyewear are some of the more prominent steps that are taken to insure your safety. But even more goes on behind the scenes.
Between each patient the rooms are thoroughly disinfected with a spray, wipe, spray system. The instruments are put into an ultrasonic machine to be cleaned, and then sterilized in a pressurized chemical/heat oven called an autoclave. The instruments are packaged in such a manner that they are never touched before actual setup in the treatment room and when they are touched, it is with gloved hands.
There are numerous fine details which are entailed in our infection control program. Our staff members have regular training sessions dealing with infection control procedures.
We hope by making you, our patient, more aware of what measures are being taken on your behalf, that your trust and confidence in our staff will make each visit a little more comfortable.
We are in network with a number of insurances, including Delta Dental, Metlife, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, BCBS, Guardian, and Dental Network of America preferred provider plans, and we offer convenient payment plans to cover the cost of your dental treatment. We truly believe that cost should not be a factor in getting the care that you need, and we have a staff trained in helping you understand your financial options. Call us now to learn more!
